Script Lanes started in a flat in central Pune in 2010 — three founders, one kitchen table, a handful of mobile-app briefs. And a suspicion that the people spending the most on software were getting the least out of it.

Fifteen years later, our 40-person team has built products for more than 200 clients across web, mobile, cloud, data, and AI. Technology keeps changing; our focus on useful software has not.

From three founders to more than 200 client teams

2010

Three founders, one flat

Script Lanes begins in a flat in central Pune. Three founders start with mobile apps, a kitchen table, and paying clients from the first month.

2014

Our first enterprise launch

We deliver our first enterprise product and establish the approach we still use today: small, dedicated teams with clear ownership from the first day.

2016

Beyond mobile apps

Our work grows from mobile apps into web platforms and cloud systems, giving clients one team across more of their product.

2018

Fifty client teams

We cross 50 client teams and deepen our work in data products, helping organizations connect the information behind their daily decisions.

2020

One team from plan to launch

Product strategy, design, engineering, and quality assurance come together as one connected team, carrying each product from early planning through launch and support.

2023

AI becomes part of the work

We launch our first generative AI products and build the team and testing practices needed to make AI reliable for real customers.

2025

A new office for the next chapter

We move into a new office in Pune, with more room for teams to work together, host clients, and turn ambitious ideas into working products.
